Open Studio The art studio will be open to any Creative Arts adult or teen (16+) to continue their projects. There will not be an instructor available during the open studio time. Days and hours will change depending on classes and other room uses. Anyone using the studio is responsible for properly cleaning up after themselves. Students using clay must thoroughly mop the floor after using the wheel. *Please call the office at 781.942.9600 before coming to verify that the room is not being used. There may other times available on a week to week basis. Student Exhibits There will be a student art exhibit and reception culminating each trimester. If artwork is taken home, students are encouraged to bring it back for teachers to choose pieces to display in the exhibitions. Select artwork may also be chosen for off-site exhibitions and/or to be displayed on our website or in publications. Art-a-thon In honor of our 30th Anniversary, we held an Art-a-thon on March 8th in place of the Arts Fair. A special thank you to our event sponsor, Dr. Mickey, DMD of Stoneham! Parties Creative Arts offers custom art and theatre parties for all ages and celebrations. So whether you're planning a birthday party, a girl's night out, a special workshop, a Scout party or badge event, or home-schooler project - Creative Arts is the place to be! Typically parties are two hours in length. Art parties can accommodate up to 15 children in one room. You and/or your child chooses the theme and the party is custom designed according to the age and interests of the group. Themes used in the past include Super Sculpey, Fantastic Dolls or Puppets, Masquerade Ball, Plaster Stepping Stone and Beauty Shop. Please click here for the full brochure and registration form. Fees/Discounts Families or individuals that enroll in more than one class per trimester receive a $5 discount on tuition for each additional class after the first in that same trimester. Combined art and theatre classes qualify for this discount when they are in the same trimester. |
