Donations
There are many ways to get involved and make a difference at Creative Arts. Please look at the list below to see which option is best for you, whether it be volunteering, donating supplies, joining a committee or the faculty, making a financial contribution, etc. As a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

How can I make a financial donation?
  • Write a check made out to "Creative Arts" and send it to 25 Woburn Street, Reading MA 01867, with this form.
  • Donate through the secure website, Network for Good, by clicking here.
  • Make a donation by credit card over the phone by calling our office at 781.942.9600.
  • Donate when you register. There is room on our registration forms for a donation. No matter how little you give, it is greatly appreciated and needed!
Can I direct my donation?
Yes, please feel free to direct your donation to one or more of the following funds:

Annual Unrestricted Fund
This is Creative Arts' general fund. Unrestricted donations allow us to use your generosity where ever we need it at the time, often for general expenses of the school. Within the unrestricted fund, you can also designate whether the unrestricted donation is used for General Operating, the Art Program, the Music Program or the Theatre Program. You can read this year's letter from the Executive Director and use this year's donation form.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Creative Arts has many sponsorship opportunities for corporations, individuals, service groups, etc. Some ideas are listed below. Other opportunities may tailored to fit your needs - just ask or make a suggestion!
  • Annual Appeal Campaign &/or Building Fund Campaign (form)
  • Faculty Concert Series: This year's series is funded by The Harpley Foundation. Will you fund next year's series?!
  • Family Music Fun classes
  • Student Performance Nights
  • Spring Arts Night Annual Reception, Concert & Exhibit (event date: June 8, 2011) - sponsorship and adv. options available. (form)
  • Financial Assistance Sponsorship - We have given over $6,000 in aid/discounts for the music program alone this year compared to $2,500 for the same time period last year!
  • Education, Training & Professional Development for Faculty & Staff
  • Operation Support
Endowment/Building Fund
Help Creative Arts stand strong through the good and bad times for many years to come! The purpose of this fund is to build reserves that can be used at the Board's discretion at times of crisis, and/or for a new or improved building structure, and/or maintenance of a home of our own. The hope is that this fund will grow large enough to create a safety net that is invested, allowing us to use the interest of the account for building and maintenance upkeep.

Piano Fund
Our pianos are one of our biggest investments at Creative Arts, but unfortunately those assets depend on much needed love, care, repair and eventually replacement. Tuning and general maintenance on pianos used in a school setting is very expensive if we are to keep them in prime working condition. Your Piano Fund donation will help to provide exception instruments to our exceptional students and teachers!

Scholarship/Financial Aid
Creative Arts offers quality arts education to our students, which comes with quality instruction and a cost for that education and instruction. Although we do try to keep our costs low, we know there are those who can not afford the lessons or classes. Financial Aid is available to those who want to study the arts but have a financial need. This fund also helps with scholarships for students that are exceptional arts enthusiasts, learners, educators, and more. Special yearly scholarships can also be designed to suit your donor dollars by calling Executive Director Jennifer Hart at 781.942.9600.
