Suzuki Violin / Viola, & Piano Instructors Suzuki violin/viola and piano teachers needed to join a well-established, thriving Suzuki program at Creative Arts, in Reading, MA. We are members of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts, and we serve a varied population in the Boston area. Qualification include a Bachelor's degree in music, or significant professional musical experience. SAA registered teacher training preferably through Book 4 with willingness to continue teacher training. DUTIES: This is a part-time, after-school position. Teach private lessons and group classes, and participate in recitals and/or group performances. Assist with annual Fall Suzuki workshop. DESCRIPTION: Creative Arts is a non-profit regional community school of the arts, located fifteen miles north of Boston. We offer classes in art, theater, and traditional music, as well as a Suzuki program. There is great demand for Suzuki trained teachers in the Boston area, and several performance opportunities are also available. SALARY: Salary based on training and experience.
