Music Camp with James Conner
Have fun building music skills, listening, singing with expressive movement, rhythm, note reading and making an instrumnet. Older group will also learn how songs are put together and try making up songs with the group.

Build and Play Kalimba
Students will build and learn to play their very own kalimba! Native Africans made this kind of instrument from gourds with cane prongs, but we will build a much more durable and clear sounding thumb piano from a kit. Until the student's kalimba is constructed we will use one from the instructor's collection to begin learning how to play. Tuition includes one-on-one instruction an all necessary building materials.
$240 for 6 half hour sessions scheduled at convenience of student & instructor;

Blues and Boogie-woogie Piano
Students will learn 12-bar blues, blues scales, and boogie-woogie patterns. Focus will be on ear-training, improvisation, and fun! This is a great way to keep piano skills honed over the summer for those students who would like a break from reading classical repertoire.

Parent Studio
This course is for parents who want to keep up with their kids’ progress or for adults who want to retrieve the piano skills from their childhood lessons. Music is for all ages!!

Musical Discoveries
Students will explore the sounds and structure of both traditional and unconventional instruments while being exposed to a diverse musical repertoire. Instruments may include marimba, hammered dulcimer, Appalachian dulcimer, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, tone drum, steel drum, etc.

Piano Technique
This course will focus on technical exercises – no reading, no assignments, just a technical workout including scales, Fast Five, trills and tremolos, glissandos, Spider, Butterfly, Hanon patterns, Dohnany exercises, triplet exercise, dynamics exercise, etc.

Vocal Performance/Audition Preparation Workshops!
Have a blast with your performing in any venue by tailoring your vocal skills and performance creativity while utilizing your natural improvisational skills! All workshops: Adults and ages 14+; call 781.942.9600 for dates & times.

Holistic Vocals Master Class
Geared towards the more accomplished singers who is already well-versed in their craft and wants to be able to see the world around them through new eyes. Music Theory for the Contemporary Musician

Acoustic Lounge
For all instruments. Work together as a group to perform Rock, Punk or Pop songs. We will play the latest music, have fun and sound like a professional band! Contemporary A Cappella Group
For singers ages 8 and up. Students will learn how to work as a group and sing close-harmony and dissonance to the tune of modern music.
