Students are assigned to specific groups according to their instrument and playing level; however, they are welcome to attend any other group as well. Groups are listed below with schedules and tuition rates.


Parent's Introduction to Suzuki Talent Education
Developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki Method nurtures and helps develop young children through the study of music. This workshop provides an introduction and overview of the Suzuki Method including private & group lesson instruction, practice facilitation and guidelines, instrument selection and how to choose an instructor.
Instructor: Sheryl LaFayette
Tuition: $22 (no registration fee); Date: Monday, Oct. 3rd, 2011, 6:00-7:30pm

Introductory Special for Suzuki Talent Education
For new students only. Register for eight 30-minute private lessons and then decide whether to complete the year. Designed to make sure there is a good teacher-student-parent fit. Registration fees do apply.
Tuition: 30 minutes / 8 weeks / $292

Suzuki Group Classes, ages 3-12
For students enrolled in Suzuki piano or violin private lessons at Creative Arts or other private studios. Group classes teach performance, music theory, group playing technique and music appreciation as it relates to Suzuki repertoire.
Piano Group: Tuesdays, 5:00-5:30pm
Violin Group: Select Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm
Tuition: $180+ per semester

Introducing the C-String Society
Ages 8-Adult beginner through professional musician
This ensemble experience is for violists and cellist inter- ested in the enjoyment of playing music together. The group meets on the second Wednesday of every month, 5:30-6:30pm, year round. Meetings end with a peanut & nut-free snack.
$10 at the door/ 6 meetings for $50; begins Oct. 12, 2011
