Use Your Imagination Ages 2.9 - 4 yrs
Students explore theatre through dress-up, dance and silly songs while discovering their own creativity and confidence on the stage! The group works together to perform a short, narrated play on the last day.
Tuesdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.; Begins 10/5/10

Limit 10; Minimum 4. Tuition: $135 (10 weeks / 1 hour)
Puppet Play Ages 3 - 6 yrs
Theatre discovery continues through learning about puppet theatre! Children explore different styles of puppets and acting through fun and exciting games, which encourage imagination and self confidence. Students create puppets, simple sets, rehearse for and present a narrated puppet play on the last day!
Saturdays, noon-1:00pm; Begins 10/9/10

Limit 10; Minimum 4. Tuition: $135 (10 weeks / 1 hour)
Fairy Tale or Fable Theatre Ages 5 - 6 yrs
Students collaboratively pick a favorite fable or fairy tale to read and explore through theatre. Students learn basic character and story analysis while improving vocalization, memorization and reading comprehension skills. Share your experience with a performance on the last day!
Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30pm; Begins 10/6/10

ACT I for Beginning Actors Ages 7 - 10 yrs
Learn all aspects of theatre including reading and analyzing a script. Have fun while enhancing stage presence, articulation, reading comprehension and memorization skills through fun and hilarious theatre games. Theatre games are used to encourage creative expression and imaginative thinking while teaching acting fundamentals. Students work together to perform a short theatrical production on the last day.
Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm; Begins 10/6/10

Limit 12; Minimum 4. Tuition: $165 (12 weeks / 1 hour)
Imaginative Acting Ages 7 - 10 yrs
Acting begins with imagination! Students are encouraged to draw upon their imagination to learn classical acting from the ground up by creating a unique play of their own! Team work, creativity, writing and critical thinking are used to write and perform a short play on the last day of class.
Saturdays, 1:00-2:30pm; Begins 10/9/10

Limit 12; Minimum 4. Tuition: $275 (14 weeks / 1.5 hours)
ACT II for Intermediate Actors Ages 8 - 12 yrs
Improve acting skills learned in previous theatre classes. Students are expected to understand and build upon basic theatre skills through fun games and skits. Auditioning, pantomime and greater character study are some of the skills covered in this intermediate class. Students improve skills and work collaboratively to perform a theatrical production on the last day.
Fridays, 3:30-5:00pm; Begins 10/8/10

ACT III for Advanced Actors Ages 12 - 16 yrs
Expand classical acting skills by exploring the challenge of character acting. By analyzing a script and practicing improvisational acting, students build characters through emotions and reactions. Students not only improve acting skills but also work on articulation, reading comprehension, memorization and teamwork. Students exhibit their hard work by performing on the last day.
Fridays, 5:00-6:30pm; Begins 10/8/10

Limit 12. Tuition: $275 (14 weeks / 1.5 hours)
Acting Coach Ages 6 - 18 yrs
Upcoming audition? Need to improve vocalization, character development, public speaking skills or build stage presence? We have the remedy! Selection of theatre coach based on student preference. Dates and time arranged with instructor.
Tuition: $32.50 for 30 min. (6 week blocks suggested)
Traveling Theatre Troupe Ages 8 - 18 yrs
For intermediate and advanced actors only. This theatre group continues to evolve acting skills by collaborating to perform a 10-20 min scene. Students learn each character’s part to better-understand character development. Students also learn and improve Improv acting through a series of games. Both Improv games and scene work are performed at events throughout the year.
Meetings are on select Saturdays, 2:30-3:30pm. Meets 16 sessions Sept-June, twice per month. Schedule TBA.
